So, this is our project.  It starts out as the water bottle standing on a table, with two girls that are amazed by it. One of the girls asks if the water is smart, or if it makes you smart. The second girl tells her to try it, she tries it, and wait a while, (glasses randomly appear) then it closes to her face, and she dramatically says liess. hahaha. it will be fun!

Six Word Story

Life, fun, and memories to remember.

Digital Story Color Palette

I chose these two colors because to me they both mean to be happy. Yes,  a part of the reason why I cose purple is because I like it, but the other resason is purple means happy. It’s not always a sad color, it’s exciting. Yellow, oh yellow.  Yellow is more exciting. When I wear it, it’s kind of like ‘I’m ready to tackle the day!’

This is a story about my object.

My object is: A stuffed Elephant

1: Discovery:

This is the story of my first encounter with this object. This is my first impression of the object.

The very first encounter I’ve had with this stuffed toy, I couldn’t tell. I got when I was around 5 years old. When I first got it, it was nothing big at all, just another toy for my full toy box. My first impression I had of my elephant was how it’s a mini version of something big. I was so happy to have a stuffed toy that was just a smaller, stuffed, toy, of something that was great.

2: Meaning.

It was no longer a toy, it seemed like having that toy was the only way I could remember everything from when I was little. It’s been with me throughout my life. When I see it, I get reminded of everything good that has happened and of everything bad.

This is how my object gained meaning. This is how my object’s meaning has changed over time.

3: Value.

Over the years, it has gained more value to me. I’m not sure what it is, it has more story than I can say. It’s still as beautiful from the day I got it.

This is what my object says about me.

4: Reward.

I think that the reward from my object is more of relief. When I see or hold it, it’s like going back to the past. Just all the happy times, and fun times I’ve had with my family that I don’t want to forget.

This is the best reward I get from owning my object.

5: Sharing.

If I were to give this object to someone else, this is who I’d give it to, and this is what I would say to them.

If anyone, I would give this object to my mom. She understands everything. I know the connections that she had with all of her stuffed toys. Also, we are much much alike. Either way you think it. It’s like having another Michaela, or My mother. I’d really like not to give it to anyone. It won’t mean the same to them as it does to me, I don’t think that anyone would actually want it, so yeah.

6: Description.

This is what my object looks like, feels like, and smells like.

My object is a stuffed elephant. It’s grey with white little fluffs on the tail; he has a bite in his ear, and is very old styled.  My object is ruffled, ragged, and smells like old wood.

Point of Veiw Scavenger Hunt

A tree from a worm’s eye view

Make a small person look tall

Photograph the same grave from a worm’s eye view and then again from a crane’s eye view

Photograph something close-up and then again far away so that each photo looks like it is a different object/place.

Can you trick us?  Take a photo that plays with our sense of space so that we are confused about point of view, proportion, and scale
